The European Innovative Games Award 2009 for KOMPAN ICON

On 8 November KOMPAN ICON won one of three European Innovative Games Awards, EIGA.

EIGA was created in 2008 and honours extraordinary innovations in computer and video games. In the category “AME – Innovative Application Methods and Environments”, ICON by KOMPAN convinced the EIGA jury.

The EIGA competition is advertised in all Europe and it is realized in cooperation with the European Commission. This year seventy titles were submitted to win in one of the three EIGA award categories.

The EIGA 2009 was celebrated at a gala event hosted by among others the city of Frankfurt and the Hessian Ministry of Economics, Transport, Urban and Regional Development and the games industry association game area FRM.
